We started in 1923.  For over 90 years, we have been working to advance the state of the practice, educate the public and engineers, and advocate for the Civil Engineering profession.

We have a history. It starts in 1923 with two people meeting at a hotel in downtown Durham and continues with 5 Branches with over 3000 active members.
