Greetings Civil Engineers and Infrastructure Advocates.

After leadership roles ranging from the FSU student chapter, the Florida West Coast Branch, and the North Carolina Southern Branch, it is an honor and a privilege to serve as President of the ASCE North Carolina Section.

My technical background covers primarily transportation, geotechnical engineering, and construction engineering, and I hold a PE in the Carolinas and Florida.  I worked in the print and online media before entering the technical realm and recently completed my MBA from UNC-Charlotte with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate.  My passions include reading, politics, soccer, and spending time with family.

As the North Carolina Section President, I hope to improve member outreach and involvement through the state Infrastructure Report Card.  This initiative requires collaboration between our technical leaders and the ASCE Government Affairs group.  A spring release date will allow us to raise awareness of the topic at the political level in time for the May primaries and November general election.  I look forward to serving the ASCE community and invite discussion on all topics regarding the built environment.
