Please join us for our February lunch meeting at Red Rocks Cafe on Wednesday the 19th.

Topic:  “Creating the Future of Nuclear Energy...Today”

The presentation will provide broad overview of the mPower technology, including a construction video of what construction will look like at Clinch River. Discussion will also cover modularization and plant standardization and the enhanced safety margins SMR’s offer the commercial energy market.

Speaker:  Frank Helin, P.E., Generation mPower LLC

Frank Helin is the Vice President of Product Development of Generation mPower LLC with a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from State University of New York and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Helin began his nuclear career in the United States Navy Nuclear Program and then spent 15 years in nuclear operations at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant (VY) in Vernon, Vermont. After leaving VY, Frank worked for GE in many leadership roles and ran a successful consulting business, as owner and CEO. Prior to joining B&W Frank ran the Plant Modifications business for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy with responsibility for all nuclear plant modifications in the Nuclear Services business globally.
