We've secured 8 volunteering spots at the Food Bank of Central North Carolina on June 27th [UPDATE, only 7 spots available as of 2026-06-09]. The spots are first come first serve using the Food Bank's registration link. If you're intending on coming out, please sign up by Friday, June 19th, as the Food Bank will reclaim any unclaimed volunteering spots one week before the volunteering event! When your sign-up is complete, you should receive a confirmation email from the Food Bank.

We will be working on the Warehouse Project/Inventory Prep, which should be indoors, but could be outdoors depending on the weather. Typical tasks include sorting produce/food and placing into bags, sorting donations from stores, cleaning and bagging juice pouches, building boxes for senior citizens, sorting and inspecting food donations, cleaning and sorting eggs, and other miscellaneous tasks. Closed-toe shoes are required for all volunteers!
