The North Carolina Section is excited to unveil the grades and release the 2026 Report Card for North Carolina’s Infrastructure at a press conference on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 10:00am. For over a year dozens of volunteers across North Carolina have been working diligently to research and write the seven categories included in this Report Card: Aviation, Bridges, Dams, Drinking Water, Roads, Stormwater, and Wastewater. This will be North Carolina's first Infrastructure Report Card release in 13 years.

The North Carolina Section is hosting the Report Card release event at the NC State University Club located at 4200 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh. Mr. Patrick Norman, PE, Chief Engineer of the North Carolina Department of Transportation will be our special guest speaker . You are welcome to join in person at the University Club or you may register to follow along live on Zoom.
