ASCE's 2021 Report Card on America's Infrastructure

Every four years, the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Report Card for America’s Infrastructure depicts the condition and performance of American infrastructure in the familiar form of a school report card. It assigns letter grades based on the physical condition and needed investments for improvement.  For 2021, America's infrastructure received a grade of "C-", which is up from 2017’s grade of “D+”.  Read more about it at ASCE.  Engineers in North Carolina are busy putting together the grade for 2022, but no release date is available yet.  In 2013, North Carolina received a grade of "C".
